happy weekend one and all! as you read this i’m in new orleans for my dear friend bri from designlovefest’s wedding and i am very excited! we’re going to do one of those ‘processional second line parades’ with a jazz band and parasols and everything! so this week i’ve rounded up a few of my favorites for you and all are slightly on the pastel side. i’m just in a feminine mood i guess due to all the matrimonial planning (just wait until you see Bri’s dress!). pix to come so check out my trip on Instagram and I will see you back here on Tuesday!

- i just love this playful desk set-up. from the pastel wall color to the artwork to that pretty pink desk lamp and vintage rolling chair it all just makes me want to actually sit down and work here. very inspiring spot, indeed.
- would you just take a look at this charming dining nook? those floors! that amazing chandelier! and guess what, it’s a short-term, two-bedroom rental apartment in rome, italy! i’m putting this one on my must-go-to list!
- and speaking of rome, doesn’t this pretty pastel pic from nicolee Drake, an American photographer based in Rome make you want to book that apartment (above) and head there pronto-like? follow her feed for more drool-worthy photos across europe. ciao!
- i just love this little counter set-up with those great little stools (like you can find at IKEA!). they look so great here, and the color palette is sublime — love the ceramics and that beautiful pale green cabinetry.
- another gorgeous peek from that same apartment — it’s the home of Spanish photographer Itziar Guzmanis and isn’t this bedroom just the dreamiest? again that lovely shade of pale green is so very soothing to fall asleep to. sweet dreams, indeed.
- this is another lovely bedroom with a pastel color palette featured recently on atlier doré. i love that pretty green throw at the foot of the bed paired with the pale pink pillows. such a pretty combo.
- have y’all seen the work of photographer ashley sophia clark on instagram? not only is it heavenly to look at it’s also very whimsical and a little weird, which is right up my alley. i love this shot of the mailboxes. visit her feed to see tons more inspiration. and you can order prints from her online shop!
- i love this bohemian bedroom, too. you know i love my vintage portrait paintings and these look so great as a grouping. and, this is an airbnb, too — in seattle!
