happy friday! i had a very inspiring week, you guys, and i cannot wait to share! i spent some time at pinterest learning about putting their platform to the best use for not only my own creativity but best business practices, too. so i’m putting together some tips for all of you to get the most out of pinterest and will be posting a series of tips to make it easier for you to use and if you have a blog or small business, how to best use it to help promote that and get your pins seen, and drive traffic to your site. anyway, i’m very excited to share, and in the meantime here’s this week’s friday finds – i hope you find some inspiration here, too! cheers!
xo, victoria
- i love the look of burleigh pavilion’s retro barstools and i especially love this upbeat color palette. pink and gold paired together always puts a smile on my face and this looks like a lovely spot to wake up and eat some pancakes!
- this is one very inspiring airstream featured on hunker. the creative couple that refurbished it and gave it brand new beautiful life did a really amazing job. do have a look at the entire very impressive tour.
- this shell collection is from @bestow_co, a very well-Curated pre-loved fashion & lifestyle store i read about on nikki valentine’s blog — with all profits going to Lou’s Place, a women’s refuge in Sydney, australia. what a lovely thing to do for women in need!
- how do you feel about beaded curtains? sure, they’re a little bit kitschy, but i think they’re kind of fun, and when used like artwork against a wall like this, it’s kind of genius (and very affordable, too!).
- i’ve seen a couple great beaded curtains on urban outfitters and i especially like this Big Dot Bamboo Beaded Curtain. it’s graphic and playful and not as overtly cheesy as some i’ve seen. they’ve got a great rainbow print curtain, too.
- i’m still crushing on sculpture as art, placed around the house, and this entryway is pretty great. simple, elegant and just a little bit unexpected. love those vintage wall sconces, too.
- i love this pink bathroom from Architect, Interior & Furniture Designer Maurício Arruda’s Apartment in São Paulo, brazil. so many pink tile bathrooms can be over the top, but with the pairing of the black & white print and mid-century task lamp, it looks super chic (and you barely notice the toilet paper stash!).
- this dreamy bedroom looks like it might be hard to get out of bed it’s so cozy, even with all that lovely light streaming in. i like the vintage bamboo magazine stand as a bedside table, too. perfect for magazines and books. we’ve got a few similar looks in super marché right now.
