oh, to live by the ocean — sounds dreamy, doesn’t it? and to create beautiful art there, too — yes, please. on her blog the scandinavia standard, Copenhagen-based Creative Director Freya August takes us inside the family home where mid-century Danish designer Henning Koppel once lived, situated on a cliff overlooking the sea, just north of Copenhagen. and now, his talented daughter Hannah Koppel, a ceramicist has made the family home her inspiring working home studio. it’s a home that exudes charm and the creativity of the people who’ve lived there and it’s one that truly tells a long family history. if those beautiful walls (and windows!!) could only talk.
